All In for the Outdoors

adidas outdoor gear is designed to take on any terrain and prepare you for any adventure. To showcase the technical specifications of the Fall/Winter 2012 product line, a product knowledge catalogue was created for various outdoor retailers. The design challenge was to create a custom package to present the catalogues in a memorable way to sales associates. Drawing inspiration from the product itself, the packaging was designed to reflect the ruggedness of outdoor equipment. The exploration of different materials led to the choice of corrugated cardboard to house the catalogues. The catalogues were adorned with screen-printed heavy-duty tape and topographic details to give them a rustic and trail-ready look. This unique presentation was well received by outdoor retailers and received a Unisource Canada Best of Print award.
